I found this recipe in my " Best Ever Fall Baking" by Betty Crocker..is very good..

Ingredients For spiced apple coffee cake

2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cbutter, softened

1egg
-
2 1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspground allspice
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 - 8 ozsour cream
-
2 cchopped and peeled braeburn apples

6 Tbspbutter, softened

1/2 cchopped and toasted pecans, i toast mine in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir and micro for another 30 seconds
How To Make spiced apple coffee cake

1Preheat oven 350 Grease a 9 inch pan with cooking spray

2In a large bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar and 1/2 cup butter with an electric mixer on med speed until creamy. Beat in egg.

3In small bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, baking powder, allspice and salt with a whisk. On low speed, add flour to the butter mixture, beating just until blended; fold in sour cream and apples. Spread batter into pan.

4In a small bowl, mix the remaining brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of flour. Stir in 6 tbsp of butter with fork until mixture looks like fine crumbs.Stir in pecans, sprinkle crumb topping over batter.

5Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on cooling rack for 1 hour. Serve slightly warm.
