This frosting is a must with my "Spring Has Sprung Cupcakes". It's fast & easy and oh so refreshing. I put an orange slice candy on the top for garnish.

Ingredients For nikki's creamy citrus frosting

4 1/2 cpowdered sugar

1/3 csoft butter

1 tspgrated orange rind

1/3 corange juice, i use fresh

pinchsalt

1/4 tsppineapple extract or vanillia if you don't have it.
How To Make nikki's creamy citrus frosting

1Combine powdered sugar,salt, & orange peel together in a mixing bowl on low speed until combined. Add orange juice slowly with extracts and beat on hugh speed til fluffy. Frost cooled cupcakes and garnish with an orange slice candy. These are great for kids parties or a potluck, picnic or ladies luncheon. Enjoy.
