I never tried this yet but my neighbor was baking this and i got the recipe from her i do know it smelled good while she was cooking it

Ingredients For lazy jane cake

  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 5 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    light cream
  • 1/2 c
    coconut
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts

How To Make lazy jane cake

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Beat eggs. Add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy.

    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add to egg mixture. Beat thoroughly.

    Heat milk and butter to boiling point, add to butter. Beat lightly and add vanilla.

    Bake in 7x7 inch pan for 30 minutes.

    I am sorry i left out a couple of things you put brown sugar and cream in cake and sprinkle nuts and coconut on top of cake
