gram's pineapple cake

This is my Grandma's cake recipe. Not to disclose my age (ha ha) but she was born in 1929 and has long since passed. I have never tried this recipe but other in my family say it is the best. So if you make it please let me know what you think.

Ingredients For gram's pineapple cake

1/2 ccrisco

1-1/2 csugar

1 ccrushed pineapple (small can)

2-1/2 cflour
-
1/4 cwater
-
1 tspvanilla
-
3 tspbaking powder
-
1/8 tspsalt
-
3egg whites beaten until stiff
How To Make gram's pineapple cake

1Cream Crisco and add sugar and pineapple. -
2Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together. Add a portion of flour mixture alternating with water & vanilla to the above creamed mixture.

3Once everything has been combined fold into the beaten egg whites. Pour into your cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
