I got this recipe from a magazine a while back, don't remember which one. But, these are perfect for a christmas eve treat.

Ingredients For easy brownie mug cake w/ peppermint

  • 10 Tbsp
    brownie mix from a box, like duncan's
  • 3 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    beaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    peppermint extract
  • cool whip and crushed candy canes for garnish

How To Make easy brownie mug cake w/ peppermint

    In bowl, mix together brownie mix, oil, egg, water and extract. Spray lightly 2 coffee mugs w/ cooking spray.

    Divide batter evenly into mugs. Microwave on high for 1-1/2 mins, or until cake starts to pull away from mug. Cool 1 mins. Remove cake from mug, if desired. Top w/ cool whip and some crushed candy canes.
