My mother use to make this cake for us. It is a very moist cake. Its good to throw in the oven when you have surprise company.

Ingredients For coke cake

  • CAKE INGREDIENTS
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 3 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    coke
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 2
    beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • ICING
  • 3/4 c
    pecans
  • 1 box
    powdered sugar
  • 6 Tbsp
    coke
  • 3 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 stick
    butter

How To Make coke cake

    Combine flour and sugar in a bowl. In a saucepan, heat butter, cocoa and coke until it boils. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Mix well.

    Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, vanilla, and marshmallows. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350. Ice while hot.

    Icing- Combine butter, cocoa ad coke. Bring to a boil. Pour over powdered sugar and beat well. Add nut and spread over hot cake.
