Ingredients For chocolate chip pound cake

  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 4
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    milk (i use whole milk)
  • 2 c
    semi sweet mini chocolate chips
  • powdered sugar

How To Make chocolate chip pound cake

    Preheat oven to 325 F. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Beat sugar, butter and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until well blended. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with milk. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch bundt pan or two greased and flour 9x5 in loaf pans. Bake for 1 hr 5 min to 1 hr 15 min or until wooden toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, on a wire rack. Remove from pan; serve warm with ice cream or cool completely on the rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
