I have been making this cake for years and not sure where i got the recipe. It's a nice dense cake and maby a "bit" healthier than some cakes. If you can say a cake is healthy that is :) hope you like it.

light brown sugar, packed
2/3 c

butter, softened

milk
2 1/4 c

2 1/4 c

quick cooking oats
1/2 tsp

baking soda
1/2 tsp

salt
12 oz

semi sweet chocolate chips
GLAZE
1 c

powdered sugar
3 Tbsp

butter, softened
1 Tbsp

milk

How To Make chocolate chip oatmeal snackin cake

preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Mix brown sugar, butter and egg whites

Stir in milk

Add rest of dry ingredents

stir in chocolate chips

spread in pan

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until light golden brown and center feels firm. Do not overbake

While cake is baking, make glaze

As soon as you take the cake out of oven spread glaze. cool
