1(18.25 ounce) package german chocolate cake mix

1 cwater

1/3 cvegetable oil

3egg whites

2 3/4 cchopped malted milk balls,divided

14 ozindividually wrapped caramels

3/4 chalf and half
-
1/2 cmargarine
-
1 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

1container frozen whipped topping,thawed

2 pkgcream cheese,softened

1 cchocolate syrup

4 Tbspmalted milk powder

2 tspmint extract

2milk chocolate bars,chopped
How To Make chocolate caramel malted cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Lightly grease one 9x13-inch pan.

2In a large bowl,beat cake mix,water,oil and egg whites with electric mixer on low speed for one mintue.Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.Fold in 1 3/4 cup chopped malted milk balls.

3Pour half the batter into the prepared pan.Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.

4In a saucepan melt caramels,half and half and margarine; stir well,pour over baked cake,sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel mixture.

5Pour remaining cake batter on top and bake for 20 minutes.Cool completely.

6To make Minty Chocolate Malted Frosting:In a large bowl,combine whipped topping,cream cheese,chocolate syrup,malted milk powder and mint extract,whisk together until smooth.Fold in with chopped chocolate bars.

7Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.Sprinkle with remaining malted milk balls.
