Ingredients For carrot cake

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    cooking oil
  • combine above in bowl and add
  • 4
    eggs, beaten and added one at a time. add
  • 3 c
    shredded carrots and
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make carrot cake

    Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes Use a 13 X 9-inch cake pan.

    FROSTING: Combine 1 8-oz. pkg cream cheese with 1/4 lb. of butter, or margarine. Add;1 box of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat well. Frost cake and sprinkle with 1 cup chopped pecans.
