Crust:
3/4 C. corn meal
1/3 C. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbs. water
1/2 C. flour
Filling:
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 C. onion, chopped
one 1-lb. can tomatoes and juice
1 Tbs. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
dash of pepper
2 eggs
1 Tbs. cornstarch
3/4 C. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make delightful taco pie recipe

Mix crust ingredients and roll out crust to fit a 9-inch pie pan. Chill in refrigerator.

Brown beef and onion, then pour off fat. Drain tomatoes, reserving juice. Add tomatoes and spices to meat. Mix tomato juice, eggs, and cornstarch. Cook until thickened and combine with meat mixture.

Pour into crust and top with cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before cutting.
