Ingredients For burgundy chicken and cherries

1 broiler-fryer, cut up

1/4 C. flour

1 tsp. salt

Dash of pepper

3 Tbs. butter or margarine

1 C. burgundy

1 Tbs. sugar
-
1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. allspice

2 C. sweet red cherries, pitted
How To Make burgundy chicken and cherries

1Coat chicken with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Brown in butter in large skillet. Stir in burgundy, sugar, cinnamon, allspice and cherries. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 35 to 40 minutes or until chicken is tender.
