My family loves waffles of all kinds but it can sometimes be time consuming and messy. So I came across this idea for quick and easy waffles just using slices of bread, eggs, milk, and sugar that were popular when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. my mom use to make these and I don't blame her as she had seven kids to feed.
