On the Food network channel this afternoon, there was a restaurant serving red velvet pancakes, they looked so tasty! Those places are never close by! I went online and found a recipe that sounds tasty.I have not tried this recipe but it sure sounds good. The original recipe added 3/4 c chocolate chips but personally I think they would make the pancakes too sweet,if you like, add them before turning pancakes over while cooking. The recipe also called for sprinkling with powdered sugar and on the show, the pancakes were sprinkled, but again,it would be too sweet for my taste.
