mother's recipe i have not cook it yet just got it from my sister cooked these and got one dozen and rolled in sugar and they were like I remenber It calls for enough flour to handle I had to use about 3 cups

Ingredients For mom's chocolate donuts

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    thick sour milk
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pinch
    ginger
  • 4 Tbsp
    cocoa sifted in a little flour
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • enough flour to handle

How To Make mom's chocolate donuts

    beat the eggs, sift the dry ingredients add the milk with the eggs add enough flour to handle mix well knead roll out, cut and fry roll in sugar or coconut if desired ,to make the milk sour add sme lemon juice to the milk

    not sure how many this will make fry in hot oil 375 degrees
