This was a fairly interesting recipe I tried recently that I found in one of my cookbooks. It adds an interesting flavor to bacon.

Ingredients For mountaintop bacon

  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 lb
    thick-sliced bacon

How To Make mountaintop bacon

  • 1
    Mix flour, brown sugar and pepper together; sprinkle on bacon slices. Place bacon on a baking sheet, then bake at 400* for 10-15 mins. or till browned and crisp.
