This is one of the creative ways I enjoy my oatmeal here in California. It tastes like a delicious tropical dessert. Usually I use old fashioned oats but sometimes will use steel cut oats, but I like it either way. To add protein and extra nutrients, I sprinkle a tablespoon of Chia Seed on top after it's cooked. It makes a lovely bowl of oatmeal.
