This recipe came from a 1961 cookbook belonging to my mother. I made this the other morning and when it was gone, we ate the crumbs off the plate.

2 cflour

1 tspsoda

1/2 tspsalt

1 csour cream

1 tspvanilla

1/3 cbrown sugar

1/4 csugar

1 tspcinnamon

1 cchopped nuts
How To Make sour cream coffee cake

1Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.

2Sift together flour, soda, and salt.

3Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream and vanilla. Mix well.

4Pour half of the batter into pan then sprinkle with half of the topping. Add remaining batter and cover top with the rest of the topping.

5Bake at 325 for 40 minutes.
