Can use O'Brien potatoes instead of hash browns. Can also use ham or bacon in place of sausage.

Ingredients For sausage egg bake

  • 1 lb
    pork breakfast sausage
  • 15 oz
    hash brown potatoes
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 9 lg
    eggs

How To Make sausage egg bake

    Brown breakfast sausage in skillet. Drain off the grease. Add the hash browns (thawed, half of a 30 oz bag) and 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese.

    Spray 9 x 13" pan and add the sausage/hash brown mixture.

    Place the eggs and milk in bowl and whisk together. Add the salt and Pepper (can use white pepper) to the egg mixture. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage/hash browns. Top with remaining cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Allow to set 10 minutes before serving. Should serve 12 people.
