How To Make "real men" do make quiche

  • 1
preheat oven to 425*. line a baking pan with 10-12 slices of your favorite bacon (I use Oscar Meyer center cut) bake at 400* for 12-14 minutes. While bacon is cooking prepare your chopped spinach in the microwave per package instructions, remove and carefully squeeze out excess water and place in a dish at your station. Remove bacon from oven and place slices on a paper towel to drain, use kitchen shears and cut into small pieces.

remove frozen pie crust from freezer and place at your work station while you chop and dice the onion. Go ahead now and grate your swiss cheese(on wax paper for ease of transport) in a medium bowl slightly beat the 6 eggs add your salt, pepper, cayenne and whipping cream mix lightly. place the diced onion in the bottom of your pie crust, followed by the cut bacon, then layered with the chopped spinach. Place your grated swiss on top of the spinach, then carefully pour your egg mixture over the top, slowly to allow absorption. sprinkle top with asiago cheese.
