Ingredients For breakfast sausage crescent casserole

  • 1 lb
    ground sausge--scrambled
  • 2 pkg
    refrigerated crescent rolls or the dough sheets
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 2 sm
    tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 8 oz
    cheddar cheese, grated

How To Make breakfast sausage crescent casserole

    Preheat oven according to Crescent dough instructions. Spray 9X12 pan with non-stick spray and unroll 1pkg crescent dough into bottom of pan(if using the rolls and not the sheets of dough, press the seams together). I bake my bottom crust for about 5-7min and then add toppings and top crust and then bake the 30min.

    Cook sausage and onion in saute pan. When done add the cream cheese and tomatoes until cheese is melted.Spread over bottom crust and sprinkle with cheddar cheese then top with other dough and back for about 30min or until golden brown on top.

    This is a delicious breakfast dish that doesn't take long and is great with fresh fruit.
