chili squares
I got this recipe off a can of Hatch Green Chilies. I use the hot ones, but you can use either hot or mild for this recipe.

Ingredients For chili squares

8 lgeggs

1/2 cflour
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt

12 ozmonterey jack cheese, grated

2 (4) cangreen chilies, chopped
How To Make chili squares

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.

2Beat the eggs until light. Blend flour with baking powder and salt. Add to the eggs and mix well.

3Fold in the cheese and chilies and spread in the greased baking dish. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until set. Cool for 5 minutes then cut into small squares for appetizers or large squares for breakfast or snacks.

4For appetizers place on serving dish and serve with fancy toothpicks.
