I don't remember where I got this recipe but it is a huge hit every year at church Easter functions.The marshmallow melts away and leaves an empty tomb when you break them open, just like Jesus'tomb. The kids love it! It is such a great teaching tool and tasty too!

Ingredients For resurrection rolls

  • 1 can
    refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 lg
    marshmallows
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make resurrection rolls

  • 1
    preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • 2
    lightly grease a round or square cake pan
  • 3
    seperate cresent rolls into individual triangles
  • 4
    combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl
  • 5
    Dip marshmallow into melted butter, roll in cinnamon and suger mix. Place marshmallow into center of crescent roll. wrap the dough around the marshmallow, completely covering. Pinch the seams together to make sure and seal it together so the marshmallow doesn't leak out.

    Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
