Ingredients For colleen's buns & cinnamon rolls
- MIX TOGETHER & SET ASIDE

2 pkgactive dry yeast
-
1/2 cvery warm water

1 tspsugar
- INGREDIENTS

2eggs
-
2/3 csugar
-
1 tspsalt
-
2 cmilk, heated
-
2/3 cshortening added in with heated milk

5 3/4 cflour
How To Make colleen's buns & cinnamon rolls

1In mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly.

2Add in sugar, salt and the heated milk/shortening mixture.

3Add the flour and mix well. Knead dough well using an additional 2/3 cup flour. Use no more than 6 2/3 cups flour between dough and kneading.

4Let rise in warm room until doubled in size.

5FOR BUNS: Shape into buns, placing on greased cookie sheets. Let rise again to double in size. Bake 350 degrees until light brown. Rotating pans in oven from top & middle racks half way through baking time.

6FOR CINNAMON ROLLS: Pat raised dough with hand to form oblong shape. Spread butter on dough and top with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up dough and slice into 2" peices, placing on greased 10x14 cake pan. Frost while warm if desired.
