Ingredients For honey pizza dough-homemade

  • 1/2 c
    warm water
  • 2 pkg
    active dry yeast (2 tablespoons)
  • 5 c
    bread flour
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c
    cool water
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp
    honey

How To Make honey pizza dough-homemade

    Stir yeast into warm water until dissolved. Let stand. In a large bowl of mixer with paddle add flour, cool water, salt, oil and honey -stir in the yeast mixture.

    Knead with dough hook for about 5 minutes, or by hand for 7 minutes. Place dough in a large greased bowl; cover with clean towel- allow to rise 30 minutes.

    Punch down and divide into 16 pieces(for individual pizza) or (4 pieces for 16 inch pizzas). Coat each ball of dough in olive oil- wrap in plastic wrap or in freezer ziploc bags and freeze.

    To Use: Remove from freezer the night before(8-12 hours) using. Allow to thaw in fridge. Let rise until double in size, then punch down and make pizza or pizzas. Very soft dough and freezes well!
