These can be served with my Fisherman's stew. They compliment any soup or stew and they are easy to make. This works best with 3 day old bread that is no longer soft. You can also change up the spices to include rosemary. Spice it up by adding "Old Bay Seasoning" Be creative, and pair it up with whatever you are creating

Ingredients For garlic croutons

  • 1
    loaf hard crusted bread like french or tuscany
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter. i prefer clearified butter
  • garlic powder
  • sea salt

How To Make garlic croutons

  • 1
    chop up bread in 1 inch squares. dip each side in liquified butter and set on toaster oven baking sheet sprinkle with garlic powder then with sea salt
  • 2
    place in toaster oven on "toast" Toast for 5 min turn them over and toast for another 5 min until golden brown
  • 3
    remove from cooking sheet and place on rack.

    Serve with soups or stews to make a hearty meal
