When I was a little girl, my Aunt Wanda served these rolls in her restaurant. People came from all over the country to eat her wonderful home cooked meals with her famous rolls and scones. She has since passed but I still have the wonderful memories and her famous recipe.

Ingredients For chalet inn rolls

  • 4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    milk, warm
  • 3
    eggs
  • 2 pkg
    active dry yeast (2 tbls)
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    water, warm

How To Make chalet inn rolls

    In a bowl, combine water and yeast.

    in a sauce pan or in microwave, melt butter and add milk. Heat just past warm stage but not hot.

    Add sugar and salt. Then mix in eggs one at a time. Add yeast water and mix again. Slowly mix in flour then beat well.

    Spray the top with cooking oil and cover saran wrap. Let rise one hour (no longer than 1.5 hours). Make into rolls and place in a greased roll/cake pan. Let rise again for about an hour.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
