In the early 1980's my family and I found some relatives we had never met in TN,one of my cousins and I shared many recipes until her death.This is one of her many recipes.I have not made this recipe but all of her recipes I've tried have been very good.She was an excellent cook.She's was over eighty years old,in a wheel chair but still cooked for herslef and anyone who visited.I was very lucky to have met her.

Ingredients For sour cream bran muffins

1/2 c. butter or margarine,softened

1/2 c. brown sugar

1 egg,beaten

1 c. sour cream

1/4 c. molasses

1 c. raisins

1 c. flour

1 t. baking soda

1/4 t. salt

1 c. bran cereal
How To Make sour cream bran muffins

1Preheat oven to 400 deg. Cream butter and sugar.Add egg,sour cream and molasses.Combine raisins and dry ingredeints.Combine with creamed ingrdients,mix just until blended.Bake 15 mins.
