Ingredients For maple syrup corn muffins

  • 3 Tbsp
    butter,melted
  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    yellow cornmeal
  • tsp
    1-1/2 baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    maple syrup
  • 1
    large egg

How To Make maple syrup corn muffins

    Preheat oven to 425. In small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. When butter is melted, remove saucepan from heat and let cool to warm. In med. bowl, mix together the dry ingredients, flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Prepare muffin tins by lininig with 8 paper muffin cups or greasing the pan. Returning to the saucepan with melted butter, add milk, maple syrup and egg to butter. Quickly beat egg into liquid mixture. Stir liquid into dry mixture and mix just until flour is wet. Spoon batter into muffin tins, bake for 15 min. until done. Serve hot with butter.
