Ingredients For apricot nut bread

  • 1 c
    dried apricots, cut fine
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts

How To Make apricot nut bread

  • 1
    Soak apricots in a 1/4 cup hot water for 30 minutes and then drain well.

    Sift dry ingredients. Add eggs, orange juice and melted butter. Fold in apricots and nuts.

    Pour into greased and floured 9 X 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
