Ingredients For tavern bread

3 cself rising flour

1/2 csugar

1 cbeer, at room temperature (not light beer)

1/4 lbbutter, melted
How To Make tavern bread

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

2Mix flour and sugar. Add beer and mix well.

3Spoon into loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes.

4Remove from oven and pour melted butter over the loaf. Return to oven and bake 15 more.

5NOTE: This can be frozen and reheated before serving.
