Ingredients For fireman bob's pizza dough my way

  • 2 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 1
    envelope fleischmann's rapidrise yeast
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp
    basil
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    very warm water (120 degrees f to 130 degrees f) or to your own temperature for yeast...
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • cornmeal

How To Make fireman bob's pizza dough my way

    In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, red pepper flakes, basil, rosemary, garlic, and undissolved yeast, and salt. Stir very warm water and olive oil into flour mixture. Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4 to 6 minutes.

    Cover, let rest on floured surface 10 minutes. Lightly oil 1 - 14-inch pan

    Sprinkle with cornmeal. Shape dough into smooth ball. Divide and roll dough to fit pan(s). Note: This dough will be enough to do 1 thicker crust pizza or 2 thin crust pizzas. Pizza Toppings to be determined...

    Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes or until done. Baking time depends on size and thickness of crust and selected toppings.
