I've been using this recipe since 2007 and always keep a jar of on the counter. Use it just as you would any baking mix. I'm posting the original recipe but I never add any sugar. It's easy enough to add some Splenda if I want a sweet dough for anything.

Ingredients For e-z low fat bisquick mix

  • 3 1/4 c
    unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar (totally optional, i never use it)
  • 1 c
    nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1/4 c
    cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt

    Mix together.

    Cover tightly and store.

    Use water, buttermilk or skim milk to moisten. Use as much as needed to make dough or batter to the consistency you want for biscuits, pancakes, or whatever.
