Ingredients For smoked salmon spread

  • 7 oz
    baked salmon
  • 1/2 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 2 Tbsp
    capers
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper, finely ground
  • 1/4 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice concentrate
  • variety of crackers for serving

How To Make smoked salmon spread

    Bake salmon just until done - remove all bones and skin. Break salmon in tiny pieces in glass or metal bowl with liquid smoke. Toss salmon and thoroughly incorporate; let sit 10 minutes.

    Combine cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, lemon juice in an electric mixer until smooth.

    Fold in capers and smoked salmon. Mix by hand thoroughly.

    Transfer to glass serving bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 3 hrs; overnight is better.
