Ingredients For southwestern spinach dip

  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese or neufchatel, 8 oz.
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/3 c
    salsa
  • 1 pkg
    frozen spinach, thawed and drained thoroughly
  • 1/3 c
    diced onion
  • 1/4 c
    shredded cheddar or cojack cheese
  • garlic powder to taste

How To Make southwestern spinach dip

  • 1
    Press thawed spinach in a sieve with spatula to remove as much moisture as possible.

    In microwave-safe bowl, melt cream cheese or neufchatel on medium for 30-60 seconds depending on your microwave. Watch closely as microwaves vary.

    Add remaining ingredients except for shredded cheese and stir to combine throughly.
  • 4
    Top with shredded cheese and place in dip-sized slow-cooker or Crock-Pot. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
