The delicious flavors come through whether the bacon is hot or cold, so it makes a great morning snack when tailgating in The Grove at Ole Miss!

Ingredients For spicy brunch bacon

  • 3
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    tarragon vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c
    crushed buttery crackers (ritz)
  • 1 1/2 - 2 lb
    thick sliced bacon

How To Make spicy brunch bacon

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl beat eggs and add dry mustard, cayenne and vinegar.

    In a flat pan, place cracker crumbs.

    One at a time dip bacon strips in egg mixture, then dredge both sides in cracker crumbs.

    Place bacon strips onto ungreased foil-lined cookie sheets and bake 30 - 40 minutes. Bacon will remain flat when cooked.

    Drain bacon on paper towels and cut strips into thirds for bite-sized pieces.
