these little morsels are loved at our house, brought home dates from palm springs, oh they are too delish, then stuff them and you have a real winner on your hands. xoxoxo

Ingredients For hot dates

  • 8 oz
    pitted dates
  • 1 can
    15 oz. pineapple chunks
  • 1 pkg
    bacon

How To Make hot dates

  • 1
    Preheat the broiler and set a rack 6 inches from heat source.

    Place a pineapple chunk in each date. Wrap a half slice of bacon around each stuffed date and secure with toothpick.

    Broil 6 inches from heat, turning occasionally, until bacon is crisp on all sides, Drain on paper towels. Serve warm

    another way I love to eat the dates, is just stuff the halfs with cream cheese and top with a pecan half. xoxox
