A lady at church gave me this recipe years ago. It has always been a hit every time I've taken it to parties as an appetizer. Never met anyone who did not like it. There is never any left and I always make a double batch.

Ingredients For bacon wraps

1 cwhite granulated sugar

1/4 cworcestershire sauce

1/4 cbrown sugar

2 canwhole water chestnuts
-
1 cketchup
-
2 lbbacon
How To Make bacon wraps

1Wrap each water chestnut with one half strip of bacon.

2Place seam side down on cookie sheet.

3Bake at 400degrees for 40 minutes.

4Drain baked bacon wrapped water chestnuts on paper towels.

5Discard bacon grease.

6Make sauce with remaining ingredients.

7Transfer bacon wrapped water chestnuts to a dish with sauce.

8Bake 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
