Ingredients For mac & cheese mini cups

  • 3 tbsp. butter, divided
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded muenster cheese
  • ½ lb uncooked elbow macaroni, cooked and drained

How To Make mac & cheese mini cups

    Preheat oven to 400. Melt 1 T. butter in small pan over low heat. Grease 36 mini (1 3/4 inch) muffin cups with melted butter. Melt remaining 2 T. butter in large pan over medium heat. Whisk in flour; cook 2 minutes. Add milk, salt and pepper; cook and stir 3 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Remove from heat; stir in cheeses. Fold in macaroni. Divide macaroni and cheese among prepared muffin cups. Top with toasted bread crumbs. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes in pans; remove carefully using sharp knife. Makes 36 appetizers
