1/3 ccanola oil

1medium onion, minced

1 pinchsalt

1/4 tspsugar

How To Make real sour cream onion dip

1Place oil in an 8 inch skillet, turn heat to medium high.When oil is hot add onion, salt and sugar. Cook shaking pan occasionally until onion browns, about 10 min.

2Pour onion and oil thru a fine strainer, you can reserve the oil in the refrigerator for future use.

3Stir onion into sour cream, cover and refrigerate overnight.
