This recipe is delicious and easy. My mom started making it using hot dogs when I was a child. I've teased the recipe a bit; not much. I serve it whenever there is a gathering along with other appetizers. It's always a favorite, especially with the men. Great for Super Bowl and other sports parties.

This can all be done ahead of time. It will serve as many as you need. The amount of sauce will allow you to add more sausage (up to 4 lbs) if using toothpicks. Over 4 lbs. I would recommend doubling the sauce.
