I made the cookies and everyone loved them at work. I was surprised to see the recipe on the cake box. Loved the mascarpone frosting way better than than frosting Duncan Hines suggested. I did not have to smoosh the cookies prior to baking. Mine flattened out. Guess I was lucky. : )
