I made one of these and one plain apple..this one was definitly the most popular. I'll have to work on my crust not showing like u and others managed to do..looks much prettier that way.

thank you Dee. I made 2 of them and gave one to friend who took it too his families dinner and he said they asked him to bring one next year!! It is a lovely recipe. I love the smell as it comes out of the pie plate of the pecans and the butter its so delicious!! I am going to have to make a couple more for Christmas I think!!!
