Well, I made this cornbread in my 9" pyrex glass pie plate. The crunchy parts were good. Guess it would be better in an iron skillet; but I don't have one. 9/07/12
Well here's what one piece of this cornbread looked like on my dinner plate along with pot salad, creamy corn, Baked Beans Aldine Hotel Style and grilled pork chop. 9/07/12
Rose, it sure is beautiful thanks for sharing a photo yes it is better in cast iron. Alot of the camping stores have them too and around fall they go on sale since camping season is over. If you have an opportunity to invest it's worth it.
