This Is About The 10th Time I've Made Chocolate Disgust; Love It!! I Still Make It Per Tara's Directions Except I Use Both Vanilla And Chocolate Puddings. Added Twist I Drizzled The Monk, Frangelico Liqueur, On Top And Is It Ever Heavenly Divine!!!!

Top Only Of My Trifle. I Took This To A Family Gathering And Was Not Bringing Any Back Home So I Put It In A Disposable Bowl. I Used 2 Small Containers Of Cool Whip. One Plain And One Chocolate. I Also Added Chocolate And Caramel Syrup To Each Layer.

My Version Of Chocolate Disgust... Which I Seriously Doubt Is Disgust!
I Followed The Recipe But Tried A Slight Twist To It.... One Box Of Chocolate, And One Box Of Vanilla Pudding And The Topping Crunchies Is Heath Toffee Bits....... I'm A Chocoholic But My Husband Is Not - Therefore We're Both Happy With The Slight Changes.

Sharon, just saw your post (I was out of town for several days) -- I made the recipe just as Tara says... but I added a touch of Frangelico on the top layer. I didn't measure it per se - but "puddled" it in spots of the cool whip on top and then swirled it to blend over the top and poured a little down the sides. Use as much or little Frangelico as you like. Next time I make this recipe, I'll use even more..... love the mild taste of The Monk.

Can you tell me how (and how much) you used the Frangelico in this dessert? Did you just pour it over the cake like the Kahlua?

You are BLESSED BEYOND WORDS to have such a beautiful kitchen Yellow Rose. It is absolutely gorgeous. I know the desserts were really good too. I have worn my apron quite a bit, I need to get another one, but I will wait. I love the Canvas fabric and how thick the fabrick is. Thanks again for all of your comments. I always enjoy reading them.

Oh Lady Rose, I WISH big Texas Sized Kitchen! Actually it's about half the size of mine in the Sunshine House in S.A. we had. I loved that kitchen and the endless countertops, cupboards, pantry, Island, Jen-Airre etc.! This whole kitchen is the size my breakfast nook used to be.... but I'm not complaining - it's "cozy" and serviceable..... oh - EXCEPT for the pantry which is the size of a thimble. ugh. Every time I go into this little dinky pantry closet I say to Jerry... oh honey, have I told you lately how much I hate this pantry? He growls. It's a family joke now. I ended up putting a little bookshelf in the laundry room off the kitchen for the pantry flow-overs. AND I have a big closed in closet in the garage for some of my big cooking appliances. BUT HE'S got four+ acres to tinker with ~ what can I say :) Actually, I'm ok with the kitchen - I can manage in there nicely - someone else though?.... that's another story. Nobody would be able to figure out my "organized mess".
My apron? Yes it has the JAP logo on the top front and has a couple pockets. It's heavy white material. I can't bring myself to WEAR it while I cook though; surely I'd stain it badly. So I wear old reliable: same JAP style black apron with colorful Texas Chili Peppers all over it. I'm no dummy.... the stains will just blend in LOL. I started wearing aprons again when I joined Just A Pinch..... makes me feel like a pro-chef and kinda look like one. Just need a chef hat I guess :)
Boy, my lady friends are taking notice that the Yellow Rose spends an awful lot of time in the kitchen now... well, when I'm not on the computer that is. I really must start posting some recipes - huh?
Off to a birthday party tonite.... I made two desserts - Chocolate Disgust AND Mom’s Chocolate Decadent Cake -- both look scrumptious. I was thinking about going swimming before going to the party - but I think I'll just dive into the desserts instead! happy day to ya sweet lady rose.
