When my kids were young I did mostly scratch cooking, because I loved it and it was much less expensive. It also brought a sense of family to have heirloom recipes. As the kids grew up and I developed other passions, I had less time at home and developed or adopted more time-saving recipes. I've been following the Auto-Immune Protocol (AIP) diet for the last few years and my new recipes will reflect that. I lost a lot of weight, feel better, and have my immune disorders mostly under control. I still cook for others and value the old recipes, so thanks for the previous blue ribbons. :)
