April 24th Blue Ribbon Showcase Promises Winning Combination

Echo Day's Smoky Chicken Taco Scoops

Last week I had the pleasure of announcing Jan Mullikin's Cream of Roasted Red Pepper Chicken Soup as the winning entry in our Just A Pinch Savory Soup Spectacular Contest. What you may have missed, however, is that Jan's prize package includes a trip to Nashville & Franklin,Tennessee to prepare her recipe with me as part of a special Just A Pinch food demonstration that we're calling the Blue Ribbon Showcase!

I am simply thrilled to get to meet Jan in person and assist her in preparing her recipe for a room full of hungry 'Pinchers. We'll be chatting and laughing and cooking up a storm... There's no telling what kind of fun (and maybe a little trouble) we're going to whip up together in the kitchen!

The first Just A Pinch Recipe Club Blue Ribbon Showcase is happening Saturday, April 24th in Franklin, TN. It will be an afternoon filled with some of the tastiest of the tasty Blue Ribbon recipes from Club members. In addition to Jan's award-winning soup, the Kitchen Crew and I will be preparing and serving-up four other member dishes. You can see the complete menu featured on this week's homepage. Congratulations to those selected!
