Everyone these days seem to be so busy. Why not make it easy and cut corners. Now don't get me wrong, I come from a family that makes all kinds of things from scratch, so I am all about that too. It just seems the right thing to do these days in making our lives a little easier, why not help those out that really don't like to bake from scratch, nor have the time..a little help goes a long way from our grocery aisle's, such as boxed cake mixes..cookie mixes, pillsbury dough in a tube, etc.!!
Short cuts are great these days..let's have fun sharing ideas and adding recipes that as Sandra Lee would say on the Food Network channel...This is SEMI- HOMEMADE!
Sandra Lee not only baked, but she also made meals you could easily put together and in a short amount of time. I'd like to think this is one of those meals, even for a sandwich recipe, which you prepare with that leftover turkey and cranberry sauce from your Thanksgiving holiday dinner. I came across this recipe 5 years ago, which was posted by Emily Mathews at food.com. The turkey and cranberry sauce goes so well together, plus the bacon, mayo, and provolone cheese, brings this sandwich over the top. I love this sandwich, and hope others will give it a try!

Our family enjoys this delicious, creamy, chocolatety tasting fudge for Christmas, or even on Valentine's Day. I like the fact that it doesn't take long to make, plus it's not overly sugary sweet like the other fudge recipes I've made or tried. Besides the brand name semi-sweet chocolate chips, I've also used the generic brand of "real" semi-sweet chocolate chips, which I've purchased from Aldi's, and this fudge still turns out great! Just be sure to use the canned sweetened condensed milk when making this fudge, not the canned evaporated milk. Stick to the exact ingredients listed in this recipe, and follow the directions as written, and your fudge will turn out perfect!
