Hope someone can help me out. I want a cannoli cream recipe that I can use to fill cannoli shells or use between layers of cake. I have seen recipes that contain ricotta. I need the recipe that does not contain ricotta. It's a white pudding. There's a bakery that I visit that has an amazing white pudding that I have not only tasted in his cannoli but also a pastry that looks like peaches. I visit my son in Charleston, SC and would love to prepare cannoli for him. I can purchase the shells from the bakery.
Am a newbie to this site and absolutely love to cook. I am excited to find so many great recipes on her as well as finding this group of Italian cooks. It would be lovely to be able to prepare something besides spaghetti and lasagna for a change.
