I was sitting here thinking to myself how much cooking and baking I use to do on a day and/or for the holidays.
Sure I got tired, but not like I do now in my 60s. I just don't seem to be able to spring back. Recovering from exhaust or being tired isn't easy.
Although through the years I have had to cut back on my baking and cooking for the holidays, there are days I just don't feel like cooking at all. And thoughts of messing up the kitchen is almost like a horror flick that runs through my mind.
Anyone else have these problems?

I love to cook and bake..but Lordy I just can't get my motor started like I use to.

Thought us ole folks needed one place for easy, quick, and not much of mess recipes.

I'm right there with you, Bonnie!

I feel exactly the same way. Just the thought of another big dinner exhausts me. I don't know how my mother did it all those years. I love to cook and bake and have family and friends over. I've been doing it for years. Now I am hoping someone else will step up and take the reigns. We have 3 birthdays coming up in the next two weeks and I need to come up with something good, quick and easy for a crowd.
